At water’s edge a pyre rises high
Sacrificed creatures stare blank all around
Angel of Death stands watchfully by

Eyes wild death all around
Struggle and scream as smoke fills my eyes
Bonds are pulled tight Angel draws near
Flames – pyre blazing high

Destined for a burning grave a sacrifice awaits
Smell of blood and streaming wounds
I am a nameless slave

Eyes open burning tears
Death’s sword lifted to sky
Desperate for freedom break ties that bind
Blade now is mine the Angel I strike

Meant to follow the king into death
